Tree Planting in honor of student

A tree planting ceremony was held recently in memory of Jared C. Bruce at the school that bears his name. Those pictured below who participated in the ceremony were (left to right): Jack Tatum, Vice Principal Yolanda Williams, Algre Pierre, Julian Tatum, Chelsea Tatum and Principal Sean K. Tatum. Bruce was a 17-year-old senior who inspired those around him with his battle with cancer, which he lost. The ceremony was sponsored by Modern Woodmen of America. (Photo by Harry Kemp)
