Wendy Williams Launches Production Company

Everyone’s favorite wig-wearing, flamboyant talk show host is setting out to conquer another part of the industry. Wendy Williams and manger-husband Kevin Hunter have started their own production company, Wendy Williams Prods. The company will focus on producing reality, talk and game shows in-line with TV diva’s love for those genres of TV.

Williams will be the executive producer for projects developed through her company and she may even make a cameo in some. We predict lots of wig-twisting, hairline exposing fun.

Williams got her start in radio in 1989 as a substitute disc-jockey. After working her way up the totem pole, she won the Billboard award for “Best On-Air Radio Personality”. Williams made her big leap to TV in 2008 with the debut of The Wendy Williams Show which was officially syndicated in 2009.

Who wants to bet that “How you doin’?” will be the company’s slogan?
