Women were everywhere, just like in the Elvis movie "Girls, Girls, Girls." No, platinum R&B singer, Tyrese Gibson wasn’t at the Riverside or the Bradley Center or the Milwaukee Theatre.
Tyrese was in da hood at Questions Night Club, one of I-Witness’ favorite places.
The singer-actor-model has starred in several movies and is well respected in the world of movies as well as the music industry. His film credits are "Baby Boy," "Four Brothers," "Annapolis," and "Waist Deep."
Tyrese also knows how to reach back and lift up. He has established an organization called "Watts 2000," to assist at building up his hometown, the African American community in Los Angeles known as Watts.
Tyrese has declares he’s back with a double CD called "Black Tie" due to be released in December.
Devon Reid, owner of Questions, had the place set up like a concert hall with a stage, lights, sound system, stage security and rails to keep the women from charging the sexy singer. The energy became overwhelming as Tyrese took to the stage.
He shouted, "how many of you have God in your life, let me hear you!?" Boy, did you hear them.
He thanked his fans for supporting him in all his movies. "I want y’all to know I’m back with something good for you." Tyrese said he wanted to share a few of his new songs and turn the set into a listening session.
He did a song called, "Roses." It was about men who treat their women well. As he sang, he threw roses out to the women and you guessed it they went crazy up in there I loved it! I also love the song.
He split the fans in half where they could join him in song and he rocked them. Tyrese did a medley of "Ol’ School" songs. I thought the roof was gonna come off the place. The atmosphere was like a thousand women gone wild, Holla!
Tyrese than "made love" to us with the song, "Every Time I Try."
"Every time I try to leave, something keeps pulling me back, Every time I try to leave something keeps pulling me back, I believe it was meant to be.
"Something telling me I need you in my life; so it means we gotta make it work." Talk about "Girls Gone Wild!" I think I-Witness went a bit wild on that one herself, Holla! He rocked the house!
Tyrese then "played" with us, asking, which one of us wanted to make him some tacos? Of course, all my little sistas volunteered, Holla! He then talked about that point in life that men reach when he finally wants to "settle down with that one girl." All my little sistas told him to choose them. Tyrese then did a prayer for all those who have lost their lives in the Iraq war.
All I can say is it was ladies’ night and Tyrese tore the roof off the sucka, Holla!
Hey Devon, you know I had a good time! I got to see Tooty, who is just fine for no reason, and I truly enjoyed Tyrese! He was good!
