Have the "12 Days of Christmas" become far too expensive? Why or why not?

Roderick Stotts: "I have found that the 12 Days of Christmas have become far too expensive, which for my family has been a good thing. It has caused us to be more creative during this time of year. We focus more on the reason for the season rather than the commercialized ideology that our current society has pushed down our throats. The greatest gift a person should give is love."

E. Martin: "Yes, I think Christmas is too expensive due to the fact that there are not enough jobs and prices have increased. Many families continue to purchase daily needs and they struggle hard to purchase Christmas gifts."

Nicole Harmon: "Christmas is too expensive. People think Christmas is about clothes, shoes, toys, X-Box 360s, Playstation 3s, etc. Christmas is about Jesus and how he was born in a manger. How Mary had to go to a barn because there was no room in the inn. This is what Christmas is about. People forget the true meaning of Christmas."

Derrick Mallett: "In our society today, the 12 Days of Christmas are way out of hand. People are expecting expensive gifts, when the greatest gift is love."
