State Zonta Clubs launch scholarship opportunities at (LEAP) conference

Madison--Scholarship opportunities launched recently for the Young Women in Public Affairs Award at the Learn, Earn and Prosper (LEAP) Conference for teens to learn about high-demand traditional and non-traditional jobs.

The 2006 Zonta International Young Women in Public Affairs Scholarship Public Affairs encourages volunteerism leadership and active public involvement.

Scholarship opportunities are being offered through Zonta Clubs of Wisconsin--Janesville, Madison, Milwaukee with award winners at the local level competing for regional, then Zonta International awards.

Pre-university or pre-college young women may obtain application materials at http://www.zonta.org/. Submit applications to local Zonta Clubs. Applications due February 22, 2007.
